SC SEN. L. GRAHAM predicts demise of Tea Party
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has done little to ingratiate himself with the rising Tea Party movement of Americans who are demanding a return to a Constitutional government. Just before Independence Day, Graham went on the record to dismiss the Tea Party completely, labeling it a disorganized “fad” that is “unsustainable because they can never come up with a coherent vision for governing the country.” Now, the Tea Partiers are hitting back, spearheaded by individuals such as businessman, economist and published columnist, Terry Easton, who contends that Progressive politicians like Graham are trying to discredit the Tea Party because it threatens their agenda. In a direct response to Graham’s assertion, a press release announcing Easton’s new book, Refounding America, points out that the “coherent vision” for this movement is clear: 61 percent of Tea Party members are committed to reducing the national debt and significantly shrinking the size of the federal government. Eason sums it up in a sentence, “In other words, it’s the Constitution, stupid." His new book is titled, Refounding America, a Field Manual for Patriot Activists," and details the history of Progressives in America, sharing dozens of strategies for using their tactics against them to win elections.
