ObamaCare has a date with the United States Supreme Court this week, on its 2nd Anniversary of its signing.
OBAMACARE’S SUPREME COURT DAY AND 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Republican US Senate candidate for the state of Pennsylvania, Sam Rohrer, is conducting a National Talk Show information campaign to draw attention to the foibles of the Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. “Obama Care”) that President Obama signed the Obama Care law on March 23, 2010.
In regards to the law, Sam Rohrer hope that the Supreme Court will rightfully rule, as Rohrer stated, “This law is not about ‘Hope and Change.’ It is about an unconstitutional power grab by President Obama and all those who voted for this disaster including (PA Senator) Bob Casey, Jr. The federal government may regulate commerce between the states, but it cannot tell the American people what commerce to buy.
“Even worse, Roher added, “The cost of the Obama Care law is about twice as much as we were told. How are we supposed to get control of a runaway deficit when President Obama and his enablers have given us such an extremely expensive law?”
Recently, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) found that the cost of Obama Care is $1.76 trillion over the next ten years, not the $940 billion Congressional Democrats and President Obama claimed it would cost. The CBO also found that as many as 20 Million Americans will lose their current Health Care coverage.
Rohrer continued, “The CBO has found that millions of Americans will lose the health care coverage they enjoy. We were told by President Obama that this would not happen. The Obama Care law also allows for many additional mandates and HHS guidelines. The result is a massive pile of bureaucracy and burdensome regulations that seem to be destroying the best health care system in the world and stifling economic recovery."
“In addition, new rules are being added on to the Obama Care law by unelected bureaucrats, like Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. There are over 700 new directives that are being added to the law, with many more to come. One directive by Secretary Sebelius involves the American taxpayers footing the bill for the “Morning After” abortion bill. Another involves taxpayers picking up the cost for college girls wanting to be sterilized. Paying for college girls to be sterilized is not healthcare.”
